From Hartford Area: Take 84 East to Exit 55 (rt.2), Follow Rt. 2 Until Exit 13, Getting off Rt. 2 (Exit 13), Take a left off the exit (CT-66 East), After about 5 miles, turn right (CT 85 South), After about 2 miles, turn left (CT 207 East), After about 2 miles, Lake Williams Campground will be on your left.

From New York, New Haven, Bridgeport Area: Take Rt. 95 North to New Haven, Take Rt. 91 North, After about 32 miles take Exit 25 towards Glastonbury (leads you to Rt.3 North), On Route 3 north take the second exit for Rt. 2, Take Rt. 2 to exit 13, Getting off Rt. 2 (Exit 13), Take a left off the exit (CT-66 East), After about 5 miles, turn right (CT 85 South), After about 2 miles, turn left (CT 207 East), After about 2 miles, Lake Williams Campground will be on your left.

Lake Williams offers a 272 acre lake which means bass fishing, swimming, boating, kayaking, canoeing, water skiing, tubing, and much more. Not only are we known for having an expansive lake, we employ a very quiet atmosphere where everyone can relax. And dont leave behind your beloved furry friends, we welcome leashed pets! We understand that animals are an important family member, we even offer a swimming area for your four-legged friends. Besides all of our on-site amenities, down the road we have a beautiful walking trail (Airline Trail) as well as Foxwoods and Mohegan Casinos nearby. Lake Williams takes pride in stocking the lake for catch and release fishing. The lake is stocked with Large Mouth Bass, Pickerel, Perch, and Bullheads. We have kayaks, canoes, and row boats available for rental at the main office, you can pick up your life preservers and paddles there as well. Our boat launch is available for use by outsiders while the front office is open, please register to do so in the office. We do not allow any boats over 20ft or jet boats, wave runners, and jet skis to enter from our boat launch.
